For people who see a sign
Do I need an app or an account?
No. Point your phone's camera at the QR code, or type the code printed on the sign at banditbeacon.com. The listing opens in your browser.
Where do I type the code?
On the banditbeacon.com home page, or at banditbeacon.com/code. The code starts with ES- followed by numbers; typing just the numbers works too.
What happens when I send a message?
The owner or agent gets it by email with the sign it came from, and replies to you the way you chose, by email or phone. We don't sell your contact details or add you to a mailing list.
The code doesn't work. What now?
Check the numbers on the sign. If the listing has sold or been taken down, the page says so. If you think a sign is wrong or misleading, use Report this listing at the bottom of the listing page.
For agents, owners and managers
What do I need to get started?
An email address and a listing. Create a workspace, add the listing, connect a sign, and send the QR code and short code to your sign shop. Your first sign is free for 30 days.
Do you print the signs?
Not yet. Every sign gets a QR code you can download and a short code; your usual sign shop prints them on your yard sign, rider or sticker.
Can I move a sign to a new listing?
Yes. When a property sells or leases, point the sign at your next listing. Scans and inquiries from before the move stay with the earlier listing, so your numbers stay honest.
What do you count?
QR scans, code entries, listing views, call-button taps and inquiries sent through BanditBeacon, per sign. We can't see whether a phone call connected or what happened on other websites.
Can I bring my listing in from the MLS or a portal?
Paste the text of your own listing into the editor and it fills in the price, facts, address and description for you to check. We don't copy photos from other sites. A direct MLS feed is planned.
Does it work for rentals?
Yes. Mark a listing For rent and it shows the rent; mark it Rented when it's leased.
Can my team share one workspace?
One login per workspace today. Team logins with separate agents are planned; the Office plan covers 40 signs in the meantime.
Pricing
How much does it cost?
From $19 a month for one active sign, up to $199 a month for 40. Yearly billing gets two months free. See the pricing page for every plan.
What is an active sign?
A sign that points to a listing. Signs you aren't using don't count, and moving a sign to a new listing is free.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Your first sign is free for 30 days. Before it ends we'll ask whether you want to continue; we invoice by email and never charge without your agreement.
What is the founding member offer?
The first 20 customers in Augusta, Aiken, Columbia, Charleston and Savannah get 40% off their first year, then 15% off for as long as they stay.
