What changed in our terms

We now offer paid plans, a one-time listing pass, extra signs and printed signs. The terms add how paying, renewing, cancelling, refunds, price changes and printed orders work, and how a sign can be given a new code.

• Terms: New: plans, the 30-day free trial (the service only; printed signs are bought separately), and what happens when a trial or payment ends (14 days' grace, then signs pause and the workspace becomes read-only; nothing is deleted).
• Terms: New: paying by card through Stripe or by invoice, sales tax, how charges appear on your statement (SandyCoastMgmtG BB, or a variation such as Sandy Coast Management Group, SCMG, SCMG BB or BanditBeacon), automatic renewal, and cancelling any time from Settings → Billing, effective at the end of the paid period.
• Terms: New: no partial refunds for unused time, except where the law requires; plan changes are prorated.
• Terms: New: new prices apply to new purchases right away; existing subscribers get at least 30 days' notice by email before their price changes.
• Terms: New: the listing pass, a one-time payment for one sign for a fixed number of days, which doesn't renew.
• Terms: New: the founding member discount and its limits.
• Terms: New: printed signs and stickers: made to order with your code, flat-rate US shipping, and reprint or refund for misprints or damage reported within 14 days.
• Terms: Changed: signs and codes: giving a sign a new code retires the old one for good, and re-code sticker kits cover the old code and QR code.
• Terms: New: BanditBeacon signs and stickers you print yourself must follow our sign standards (stickers and riders bought from us already do, and the sign you put them on doesn't have to); we may pause a code used on a sign that doesn't.
• Terms: New: self-printed signs are approved from a photo; a sign that doesn't follow the standards is paused until a photo of the corrected sign is approved.
• Terms: Replaced: the pilot's "we won't charge you" fees section, by the sections above.
• Privacy: New: what we keep when you ask for a custom plan, and for how long.
• Privacy: New: payments are handled by Stripe, which receives your card and billing details; we keep only your plan, billing status and shipping address for printed orders.
